Lough Key Forest

On the south shore of Lough Key Lake, you can enjoy a walk through an enchant­i­ng for­est : Lough Key For­est Park. This 320-hectare for­est park guar­an­tees you excep­tion­al views of the water but also takes you through pic­turesque land­scapes char­ac­ter­is­tic of the region. Don’t miss the oppor­tu­ni­ty to climb back aboard your house­boat and do some island hop­ping on the lake. There’s still a medieval fortress to admire on Cate Island.
